Recently, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Xinjiang Autonomous Region issued 8 technical standards for green production of characteristic forestry and fruit, such as medlar, almond and Korla fragrant pear. So far, all the technical standards for green production of 12 main tree species of Xinjiang characteristic forestry and fruits have been released, marking another big step forward in the standardization of Xinjiang's forestry and fruit industry.

The newly released 8 technical standards for green production of characteristic forestry and fruits were formulated and recommended by experts organized by the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of the Autonomous Region, including medlar, almond, peach, fresh grape, Korla fragrant pear, pomegranate, apricot and apple. In addition to the green food production technical standards for walnut, red date, plum and sea buckthorn, which has been released previously, the green production technical standards for 12 main tree species of Xinjiang characteristic forestry and fruits have been released.
